Shifts: Two patterns available
Monday–Thursday: 21:00–06:00
Friday–Sunday: 18:00–06:00 (12-hour shifts)
About the Role
At AstraZeneca, we’re transforming the future of bio-pharmaceuticals with our bold innovations and sustainability ambitions. We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our Operations team in Macclesfield, supporting essential supply chain activities that drive our Zero Carbon by 2025 commitments.
In this role, you will manage component supplies and stock levels while ensuring compliance with financial requirements. You’ll coordinate dispatches and deliveries across our site, playing a vital part in supporting manufacturing and sustainability goals.
Key Accountabilities
As our Warehouse Operator, you will:
Support manufacturing targets by maintaining timely and accurate material supply.
Prepare sterile products for dispatch, adhering to strict safety and compliance standards.
Manage inventory and monitor stock levels to meet business needs.
Uphold safe working practices, ensuring full compliance with Macclesfield Site SHE procedures.
Essential Skills & Experience
Computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems
Knowledge of sterile products and sterile working environments
Understanding of supplier relationships and component lead times
Compliance experience with COSHH, SHE, and GMP standards
Manual handling expertise, including pallet trucks and fork lift trucks
Ability to work independently, scheduling and managing work to achieve daily and weekly targets
Meticulous attention to detail
Desirable Skills
Valid license to operate relevant warehouse vehicles
Prior experience in warehouse operations, stock handling, and logistics
